This is Grace’s all time favorite toy!…her Jolly Ball. She has different sizes and different colors. about 5 balls total. She actually grabs the ball and runs around with it in her mouth! One of the funniest things you’ll see. will post a video once we buy a camcorder. i’m still getting the blog thing down. Cheers!

First Round of Chemo Today – Doing Great
Grace Started her first round of chemo today. She is doing great! No side effects! The pathologist did find a soft tissue “high grade” tumor in the same leg that was amputated. This was confirmed today…they were hoping it was a low grade cancer. So, we are alternating chemo treatments…Carboplatin for the OS and another type of chemo for the synovial (soft tissue) sarcoma. 4 treatments total. They think the soft tissue tumor was caught really early and are optomistic it hasn’t spread. We have her on K9 Immunity and home cooked meals and fish oil. Considering Arte (arteminisinin) and Cumurin. Does anyone have any feedback or any other suggestions on holistic treatments with proven results?
she loves to suckle (bulldog thing) with her soft toys

Hello!
Hi, my name is Grace and I am a 10 year old English Bulldog. I was diagnosed on June 18, 2010 with osteosarcoma, which is extremely rare for my breed. My mommy and daddy found an amazing surgeon in Northern California and I had my back rear leg amputated on July 6th. I am getting around well on 3 and am a happy girl. My mommy is giving me home cooked meals, K9 immunity and may start me on arteminisin. If you have any comments, positive feedback or anything to share….I would love to hear it. Thank you.
I’m a new member of the Tripaw Club
I am starting my chemo this coming monday and would love to hear from other cancer survivors (I have osteosarcoma) on treatments that have been successful and some positive, encouraging feedback. This has been very tough on our family. We are optomistic with all the new treatments (holistic, western medicine, supplements, etc.) and will continue to become as knowledge and equipped to fight this thing.
